MY learning story for my product..

In room tuakana  Miss  ardelle and kate  said  we could make our own product  that improves the health and well being of teenagers….  I was so happy  and Excited because we could   choose anything  that teenagers will buy and use.. We also get to choose  our Own buddies…     So me lelia  and tyler Came up with a  smoothie  that has  Lots of fruit and nutrition that no other drinks at the shop have and that you can buy .. . it is for teenagers  that  are sick and tired of getting bullied ...because  they're  too fat and big.. .well don't i got a  product for you….
Our smoothie  is called  T.A.Z Which stands for take a zip…..
We came up with Making a fun add to make people want to by our yummy T.A.Z SMOOTHIE...

We also came up with  Giving a  letter to them to see if the our smoothie is yum.. so when people get to try it out we can start making more smoothies…… Our T.A.Z SMOOTHIES WILL BE VERY NICE TO TRY OUT.. So No need to exercise because  i've  found a easy way for you to  lose  weight and  all the  fat in you and I was good at helping  my Team  …..

My 2016 athletics story..

Participating and contributing in the corinna school Athletics day……

(ATHLETICS WAS AWESOME!!!

On Thursday the whole school participated in the school athletics

I  supported my friends and I encouraged them to do whats right,I told them... “you can do it.” I was also good at cheering for everyone.

I was good at Taking a risk and giving things a go. In discus I didn't  know  If I was good or not. So I Just gave it a try.  For the  first practice I got a gold because I was  used my power and strength to get it over the cone.. I tried my second practice  and got gold again……..



My favorite activity was running and discus.   
I am fast at running because i was swinging my arms at a 90 degrees angle and I keeping my head up.

My learning Story for Writing Poems.

PURPOSE: To Paint a picture in the reader's head that helps the reader to visualize and to invoke a feeling.

In my class we have been learning to write our own poems using our own words.

I  have been reading poems from people  and been  watching videos that  describe how the character is feeling.

Here is a Poem that I have created. I was learning to use personification to describe the personality of my cloud.
 
Forest poem
Walking   through a field of freezing thick ice. ‘’Stop’’. Feeling cold a breeze comes my way.
 sun rising
Shining  in my eyes.
Leaves slowly falling
Lonely branches
Nice blue sky
Amazing view
Birds singing in the trees.

My writing learning story

In writing I have been learning to write my own piece of narrative writing. The success criteria that I have been using for my writing is was using a hook to get the reader interested in my story and using descriptive language and dialogue to show but not tell the reader what is happening in my story.


Here is a piece of writing I'd like to share...



I heard a whisper,but no one was there.


Last week when I came back from school. As I walked through the door I could hear a whisper floating slowly past my ear. I didn't  move. I didn't even breathe. I just froze like ice.

So I  slowly walked around. Looking through each room but no one was there. When i was playing on my phone. I could hear the whisper.
But it  was Louder than  before  it was echoing From the kitchen.
So when i went to go and see who was there. But it was Just the wind coming through the open window.

This is my swimming learning story......

When I first walked into the Cannons Creek swimming pools, it smelled like bleached liquid.  As I safely got into the pools it felt cold at first and then I quickly got used to it in just a minute.

We were learning safety ways  to survive in deep areas of the ocean or other parts of the water. We were also learning new swimming skills so we can get better at our swimming.


My goal now I need to achieve is my breathing skills in the water. That is also my next steps. This is how I can achieve my goal. By learning new breathing skills so it is easier for me for when I hop into the water.  Overall my swimming experience was fun and awesome with our great support from my groups swimming instructors for my last year at Corinna School.

Reading Learning story

During reading time, we have been learning about Myths and Legends to help us write our own narrative stories. The success criteria I was focusing on was using a interesting hook to keep the reader entertained till the end.

Here is an example...


Long ago there lived a girl named Tina. Every morning Tina and her friends would go fishing and hunting.  But one particular morning they noticed that the sun was setting faster than usual, making it hard for them to gather fish and meat for the village.

So one day Tina and her friends made a plan to hunt down the sun and slow it down.  

So that evening we jumped into our waka and paddled down stream and walk over the rocky mountains and through the wild forest, until we reached the sun's house, where the sun was sleeping.

Tina and her friends pulled out there magical net and threw it over the sun and said a special karakia, two slow the sun down.

The next morning, when the sun  stayed high in the sky and Tina and her friend were able to fish and hunt all day and not worry about the sun setting early.

This is one of the school Journal book that I am reading . The name is The buttons.....

This Is My kapahaka 2016
Every Thursday mornings we have kapahaka  with  Whaea Clair and Mature Todd. Every time I go to kapahaka I always show discipline to them,if it wasn't for them I wouldn't be understanding the words that they have taught me.

I love kapahaka it makes me, feel like i belong and loving learning different waiata and poi.

I am looking forward to showing our kapahaka performance.

My next steps is to show respect keep my mouth close and all times when they are talking.
